Corse, Michel Jonasz et Birelli Lagrène confirmés pour Jazz in Aiacciu.
Le festival débutera avec Florin Niculescu et l’ensemble instrumental de Corse, le 25 juin à 21 h. ”Fiorin Niculescu est un des musiciens virtuoses majeurs de la scène de jazz internationale, considéré comme le successeur de Stéphane Grapelli.
Il a développé une sonorité propre et un langage singulier, grâce à sa solide formation classique mais aussi à l’expérience tzigane et aux multiples collaborations musicales au côté de grands musiciens de jazz (Biréli Lagrène, Georges Benson …).
Bireli Lagrene sera la tête d’affiche de la soirée du 26 juin: ”Biréli Lagrène est aujourd’hui considéré comme le plus grand guitariste de jazz au monde. Fils spirituel de Django Reinhardt, dont il s’est longtemps inspiré. Désireux de tourner la page du jazz manouche, il explore une veine électrique sixties et funky dans son dernier album “Mouvements” Biréli , c’est toujours pareil : c’est-à-dire que ça ne l’est jamais...
Pour la soirée du 27 juin, Tania Maria est désormais annoncée (au lieu de Robin McKelle début mars: ”Pianiste vocaliste hors norme, auteur compositeur inspirée, Tania Maria s’impose comme une artiste majeure. Cette bête de scène maîtrise ses modulations au plus haut point, sa voix toute en accents graves peut se faire sensuellement groove, son style percussion au piano peut se transformer en un toucher plus classique, un cocktail épatant de rythmiques brésiliennes et d’harmonies jazz, le tout au service d’une écriture qui affirme et affine une sophistication mélodique hors pair. Tania Maria sur scène, c’est effectivement un sacré rendez-vous musical, de la virtuosité, du swing, entre rythmes brésiliens et improvisations jazz au piano!”
