Carnaval de Sartène.En 2001, un groupe d'amis décide de créer l'association "Sartè n'Allegria" dont l'objectif est d'organiser un carnaval à Sartène; cette manifestation est ancrée dans la tradition sartenaise, en effet des archives remontant aux années 1930 relatent cette passion éprouvée par la population pour l'art de la fête et du déguisement.
Grâce à l'association, cette manifestation est aujourd'hui non seulement pérenne mais est devenue l'évènement incontournable de toute une région et prend chaque année de plus en plus d'ampleur .

In 2001, a group of friends decided to create the association " Sarte n' Allegria" with the objective to organize a carnival in Sartène; this event is steeped in the Sartene tradition.
Indeed archive dating back to the 1930s relate this passion felt by the population for the art of celebration and disguise.
Through the association, this event is not only durable but today has become the unmissable event of the whole region and becomes every year more and more important.
